From: Larry Bennet <firstname.lastname@example.org>
Matt asked me to send this out if anyone remembers seeing him down there please reach out to him.
Larry, hope all is well, its Matt Williams perhaps you can help me out. I get your emails regularly which have numerous people from the 19th attached to the mailing list. I’m hoping you can send some info out for me since I’m not on any social media sites. In November I was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of melanoma in my right eye so rare that Sloan Kettering only treats about 10-15 cases a year. I had surgery at Sloan Kettering in November and currently under going chemo treatments, just finished my second, four more months to go. I’m attempting to file with the WTC registry.
I need to get at least two people to prepare a notarized statement saying they saw me at the WTC on 9/11. I remember escorting Tony Labocetta and a group of doctors down to the site. I also was down there with Gus Tsachs(spelling) but his first name is Constantine and saw Billy Montgomery down there. I’m not sure if I saw Pete Panuccio down there. I have the form and would appreciate if you can send a blast out to as many people listed on your email. I don’t know how to reach Gus, Tony, Billy or Pete perhaps there is someone else on your mailing list who saw me down there on 9/11. My email is Matt7919@msn.com thanks for your help wishing you the best. Matt

CALL FOR PRAYER
From Member Antonio (Tony) Rodriguez
I don't know where to start, so I will start by asking my fellow retirees in both clubs to keep my wife Socorro (Coqui) Rodriguez in your pray's as we move forward with aggressive cancer treatment. We started the cancer fight on July of last year, when she was diagnosed with throat, and lung cancer (stage 4). After a P.E.T. scan in December we were informed that the cancer had been defeated and it was the best Christmas of our lives.
The latter was shortly lived when on April 4th of this year she had a follow-up P.E.T. scan which identified cancer (Squamous cell carcinoma) in both her lungs and in her blood. It has come back with a vengeance...
In closing let me thank all of you in advance and also to say that we believe in the power of prayer...
The Rodriguez Family
Thank you Eddie, yes please post. We are currently under treatment here in Naples with 21st Century Oncology and are receiving the best care possible for lung cancer. Perhaps other members who are or might have gone through a similar process can offer us some advice going forward. Any information is desperately welcome..
Thanks so much and God Bless
